Tourists can spend weeks in Mumbai, but if you only have a few hours or days, be sure to see Mumbai's awesome Harbour waterfront, the iconic Gateway of India arch, and Elephanta Island where you can see ancient and spectacular cave temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.

Officially known as Shahid Bhagat Singh Road, the Causeway is one of the most iconic streets in Mumbai. A shopper’s paradise awaits you here, with jewellery, fine food, street food, fashion, antiques and home décor in abundance.
Be sure to take the time to explore some of the locals favourite Mumbai restaurants, including the Piccadilly restaurant and Delhi Darbar (often talked of as serving the best Biryani and Butter Chicken in India). Cafes, such as the Gateway of India, Mondegar Cafe, Cafe Churchill and Leopold Cafe offer great coffee.

Siddhivinayak Temple
The Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple at Prabhadevi was originally consecrated on November 19, 1801 and is one of the most popular temples in Mumbai. Invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesh, the Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple at Prabhadevi has grown over the years and now also incorporates a five-storied temple complex making for a substantial place of worship.
